Early June, we took a trip to Hengelo with a group of 15 students to visit the Eaton Headquarters in The Netherlands. They showed us some of the R&D projects they’re working on and gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the plant. It was super interesting to see how everything comes together—from hardware and systems design to power electronics, HV, and software.
Engineers from different backgrounds shared what it’s like to work in the electrical engineering world—how they got there, what they work on, and what keeps them excited about their jobs. It was a great reminder of how diverse and collaborative engineering really is.
Big thanks to Eaton for having us and giving us a glimpse into their work!
